Our interim pastor, the Rev. Nancy Light Hardy, has been with the three churches since 2014.  Ordained into the Christian Ministry in 1982, she has served churches in both Massachusetts  and Pennsylvania, as well as serving on the staff of the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ.  She's a graduate of Dickison College(B.A.), Brown University (M.A.T.), and Andover-Newton Theological School (M.Div.).  Pastor Hardy is delighted to be serving in the charge where her father began his ministry in the 1940's!

Our Churches

The churches of the Orangeville Charge have shared a common pastor for over 150 years.  St. James and Zion are part of the United Church of Christ (see www.ucc.org).  The Orangeville United Church is a federated congregation, with ties to both the UCC and the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) (see www.pcusa.org).  The churches joyfully share in a number of worship services, educational opportunities, and mission projects throughout the year.  At the same time, each maintains its own unique identity and traditions, striving to serve God in its own setting.  All three churches take delight in welcoming others into their community of faith.
